Raziye is a British artist who graduated from the former Bath Academy in 1995. Her practice covers painting, installation, sculpture and drawing.
Born into a vibrant family home with a seamstress mother in London, her body of work entitled “stitch in time” is a colourful, intimate portrayal of urban living from childhood memories. “The themes of family and belonging are key to my work, infused by my English and Cypriot heritage.”
Raziye formulated her practice as an artist at ACAVA studios followed by Great Western Studios in Wesbourne Park London. Now living in Winchester,she is a member of the Artful artist group, and 2D3D South. She combines her practice with teaching that is based at The Colour Factory in Winchester, Hampshire.
